Carrie Schneider, a Houston based visual artist and writer, is assembling a dynamic collection of audio tours of walks in Houston called "Hear Our Houston." The project explores walking in Houston as a "radical act" and invites the public to generate tours.
I recorded a tour and took photos of my frequent walking path around Elder Street Artist Lofts and First Ward.

My photos and tour are featured on OffCite: the Rice Design Alliance architecture and design review of Houston.

During my residency, I've been getting feedback and exploring ideas on some possible ways to activate the abandoned building behind the Lofts. More on this later.
