I've read a ton of "advice for artists" blogs, rants, and books over the years. Based on my experiences, particularly those over the past 12 months, this is BY FAR the most compelling list. Simple, honest, and unpretentious advice.
Point #2 in particular really resonates with me, as it is something I struggle with daily:
2. Don’t wait until you know who you are to start making things.
